Shoe Shopping...

Since Jenni and I were in need of some new shoes we packed up the kids and went shoe shopping.  Anyway, we didn't make it to the mall to look for shoes.  Instead, we found a Toyota dealership that was having a big sale.  We had been talking about getting a new car and were debating between the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna.  Long story short, we found our new van - a 2006 Toyota Sienna.  It is a pretty big upgrade from our 1996 Caravan (which they gave us $500 for a trade in).

The boys love it.  Jenni loves it.  Max doesn't know it is any different.  It has some really good safety features (we bought the LE but with some extra options like skid control).  It was an interesting day and it was fun to argue with sales people :P.

So... we still have to find time to buy new shoes.

I still think it's funny that you are excited about driving a mini van! It is a cool looking mini van, though! It is probably nice to have a reliable vehicle now!

Sean and Becca are against mini-vans but...they fit alot of people, drive nicely, and get good gas mileage. I'm glad you guys bought one and Jen just better give it a road test and come see us! Bummer they gave you almost nothing for the other one. Love, Grandma Beth

$500 will buy lots of shoes! :-P

It's really cool-looking, and it's a very pretty color!!

Looks nice! I agree with Katie! 500 will buy lots of shoes, but it would also take money off the price of the van!
